      Her married name became Hope.

     Helen Boyle was born circa 1808. She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie.1 She married Sir Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson of Kilkerran, 5th Bt., son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 4th Bt. and Jean Dalrymple, on 1 June 1829.1 She died on 26 June 1869.1
      From 1 June 1829, her married name became Fergusson. From 1838, her married name became Dalrymple-Fergusson.2

     James Hope was born on 28 May 1803.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Charles Hope, Lord Granton and Lady Charlotte Hope. He married Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie, on 2 December 1828.1 He died on 14 February 1882 at age 78.2
     He was Deputy Keeper of the Signet.2

Sir Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson of Kilkerran, 5th Bt.1

     Sir Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson of Kilkerran, 5th Bt. was born on 26 August 1800.2 He was the son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 4th Bt. and Jean Dalrymple.3 He married Helen Boyle, daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie, on 1 June 1829.1 He died on 18 March 1849 at age 48.2
     He was given the name of Charles Fergusson at birth.2 In 1838 his name was legally changed to Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson on inheriting the Newhailes estate from his aunt Christian Dalrymple.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Fergusson, of Kilkerran [N.S., 1703] on 14 April 1838.4 He added the Drummellan estate to Kilkerran.2

     Very Rev. George David Boyle was born on 17 May 1828.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Catherine Campbell Smythe.1 He married Mary Christiana Robins, daughter of William Robins, on 7 January 1861.1 He died on 21 March 1901 at age 72, without issue.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Dean of Salisbury.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2

     Captain Robert Boyle was born on 2 December 1830.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Catherine Campbell Smythe.2 He married Frances Sydney Fremoult Sankey, daughter of Francis Fremoult Sankey, on 9 July 1856.2 He died on 29 August 1869 at age 38.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
