James Ferugson, Lord Pitfour 2
He was educated between 1711 and 1715 at Marischal College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.2 He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was admitted to Advocate in 1722.2 He held the office of Senator of the College of Justice in June 1764.1 He was styled as Lord Pitfour [Scottish Law Lord] on 14 June 1764.1,2

Hon. Janet Murray was born on 13 July 1723.2 She was the daughter of Alexander Murray, 4th Lord Elibank and Elizabeth Stirling.3 She married Sir Robert Murray of Dunerne, 6th Bt., son of Colonel William Murray and Anne Schurmann, on 22 June 1750.1 She died on 9 August 1759 at age 36.1
