     Euphemia Aemilia Murray was born on 25 February 1769.1 She was the daughter of Mungo Murray and Cecilia Lyon. She was baptised on 27 February 1769 at Kettins, Angus, Scotland.1 She married David Smythe, Lord Methven, son of David Smythe, 9th of Braco, 3rd of Methven Castle and Mary Graham, on 2 August 1794.2 She died on 29 April 1845 at age 76 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2
     From 2 August 1794, her married name became Smythe.
