Henrietta Duncan.1 He married Helen Blackburn, daughter of John Blackburn, on 30 January 1852.2 He married Margaret Eliza Fairlie, daughter of William Fairlie, on 12 May 1866. He died on 15 February 1878 at age 64.2

Captain Robert Bruce, Master of Burleigh was born on 25 September 1880 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Hugh Bruce, 6th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Lady Katherine Eliza Gordon.1 He died on 26 August 1914 at age 33 at Le Cateau, France, killed in action.2
