Sir William John Milliken Napier of Merchistoun, 8th Bt. was born in 1788.1 He was the son of Robert John Milliken Napier of Culcreuch and Anne Campbell.2 He married Eliza Christian Stirling, daughter of John Stirling, 6th of Kippendavie and Mary Graham, on 11 November 1815.1 He died on 4 February 1852.1
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Napier, of Merchistoun [N.S., 1627] in 1808.1 On 17 March 1817 he was served heir male of Sir Archibald Napier, 3rd Bt and assumed the baronetcy.1

John Stirling, 6th of Kippendavie was born on 22 December 1742.2 He was the son of Patrick Stirling, 4th of Kippendavie and Margaret Douglas.2 He married Mary Graham, daughter of William Graham, 2nd of Airth and Ann Stirling, on 30 April 1781.2 He died in June 1816 at age 73.2

Sir Robert John Milliken-Napier of Merchistoun, 9th Bt. was born on 7 November 1818.1 He is the son of Sir William John Milliken Napier of Merchistoun, 8th Bt. and Eliza Christian Stirling.2 He married Anne Salisbury Meliora Ladaveze Adlercron, daughter of John Ladaveze Adlercron and Dorothea Catherine Routh, on 4 April 1850.1 He died on 4 December 1884 at age 66.1
