     Mary Elizabeth Milliken Napier was the daughter of John Stirling Milliken Napier and Janet Brown.2 She married Captain Charles Lisle Stirling-Cookson on 9 June 1902.1 She died on 29 April 1925.1
     From 9 June 1902, her married name became Stirling-Cookson.

     Captain Charles Lisle Stirling-Cookson was born in 1855 at Rolleston, Staffordshire, England.2 He married Mary Eleanor Stirling, daughter of Sir Samuel Home Stirling, 7th Bt. and Mary Harriet Thornton Begbie, on 23 July 1885.3 He married Mary Elizabeth Milliken Napier, daughter of John Stirling Milliken Napier and Janet Brown, on 9 June 1902.1 He died on 17 October 1919.1
     He was given the name of Charles Lisle Cookson at birth.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at Renton House, Grants House, Berwickshire, Scotland.1
