He married, firstly, Lady Adelaide Emily Feilding, daughter of William Basil Percy Feilding, 7th Earl of Denbigh and Lady Mary Elizabeth Kitty Moreton, on 25 April 1865.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Moncreiffe, daughter of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 7th Bt. and Lady Louisa Hay-Drummond, on 11 June 1878.2 He died on 23 August 1924 at age 87.
