     John Beresford was born in April 1796.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. George de la Poer Beresford and Frances Bushe.2 He married Harriet Eliza Wylly, daughter of Hon. William Wylly, on 6 May 1822.2 He died on 10 September 1856 at age 60.2
     He held the office of Colonial Secretary of the Island of St. Vincent.1

     Pauline Mary Bolton was the daughter of Herbert Coxon Bolton.1 She married, firstly, Victor Frederick Cochrane Hervey, 6th Marquess of Bristol, son of Herbert Arthur Robert Hervey, 5th Marquess of Bristol and Lady Jean Alice Elaine Cochrane, on 6 October 1949.1 She and Victor Frederick Cochrane Hervey, 6th Marquess of Bristol were divorced in 1959.1 She married, secondly, Captain Edward George Lambton, son of Hon. George Lambton and Cicely Margaret Horner, on 16 December 1959.1 She died on 2 September 1996.2
     From 6 October 1949, her married name became Hervey. From 16 December 1959, her married name became Lambton.

     Her married name became Howard.
