     Ann Arbuthnot was born on 18 January 1822 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Sir William Arbuthnot, 1st Bt. and Anne Alves.1 She married Lt.-Col. Hugh Inglis, son of George Inglis of Kingsmill and Helen Alves, in 1849.1 She died on 6 January 1900 at age 77 at Kingsmill, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1
     From 1849, her married name became Inglis.1

     He lived at Basalleg, Monmouthshire, Wales.1 He was given the name of John Leyson at birth.1 Circa 22 December 1830 his name was legally changed to John Leyson Stallard Penoyre by Royal Licence.1
