     John Stracey was born on 26 November 1772.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Stracey, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Lathom.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Comyn, daughter of Thomas Comyn, on 1 February 1814.1 He married, secondly, Emma Elizabeth Clitherow, daughter of Christopher Clitherow, on 3 August 1819.1 He died on 15 October 1858 at age 85.1
     He lived at Sprowston Lodge, Norfolk, England.1

     Harriet Comyn is the daughter of Thomas Comyn.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Ainslie before 1814.1 She married, secondly, John Stracey, son of Sir Edward Stracey, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Lathom, on 1 February 1814.1
     From before 1814, her married name became Ainslie.1 From 1 February 1814, her married name became Stracey.

Edward John Stracey-Clitherow1

     Edward John Stracey-Clitherow was born on 4 June 1820.1 He was the son of John Stracey and Emma Elizabeth Clitherow.2 He married Harriot Matilda Marjoribanks, daughter of Edward Marjoribanks and Georgiana de Latour, on 20 August 1846.1 He died on 20 September 1900 at age 80, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Edward John Stracey at birth.1 On 20 July 1865 his name was legally changed to Edward John Stracey-Clitherow by Royal Licence, under the terms of the will of James Clitherow.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Fusiliers Guards.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Middlesex in 1889.1 He lived at Boston House, London, England.1 He lived at Hotham Hall, Yorkshire, England.1

     Reverend William James Stracey-Clitherow was born on 8 August 1821.1 He was the son of John Stracey and Emma Elizabeth Clitherow.2 He married Maria Diana Bourchier, daughter of Lt.-Gen. James Claud Bourchier, on 8 August 1849.1 He died on 30 June 1912 at age 90.1
     He was Vicar at Buxton, Derbyshire, England.1 He was given the name of William James Stracey at birth.1 He was Rector at Oxnead, Norfolk, England.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 On 27 October 1900 his name was legally changed to William James Stracey-Clitherow by Royal Licence.1
