     Standish Prendergast Vereker, 4th Viscount Gort was born on 6 July 1819.1 He was the son of John Prendergast Vereker, 3rd Viscount Gort and Hon. Maria O'Grady.2 He married Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage, daughter of Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Elizabeth Maria Foley, on 4 May 1847.1 He died on 9 January 1900 at age 80.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1843.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th Brigade, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Kiltarton of Gort, co. Galway [I., 1810] on 20 October 1865.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Gort, co. Galway [I., 1816] on 20 October 1865.1

     Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage was born on 23 July 1823.1 She was the daughter of Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Elizabeth Maria Foley.1 She married Standish Prendergast Vereker, 4th Viscount Gort, son of John Prendergast Vereker, 3rd Viscount Gort and Hon. Maria O'Grady, on 4 May 1847.2 She died on 8 May 1888 at age 64.2
     Her married name became Vereker. After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage was styled as Viscountess Gort on 20 October 1865.

     Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island was born on 14 December 1791.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Gage, 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Susannah Maria Skinner.1 He married Elizabeth Maria Foley, daughter of Hon. Edward Foley and Anna Maria Hodgetts, on 8 March 1813.2 He died on 20 January 1877 at age 85.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Gage of High Meadow, co. Gloucester [G.B., 1790] on 29 January 1808.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Gage, of Firley, co. Sussex [E., 1622] on 29 January 1808.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island, co. Kerry [I., 1720] on 29 January 1808.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Gage of Castlebar, co. Mayo [I., 1720] on 29 January 1808.1

     Her married name became Gage.

     Herbert Arthur Robert Hervey, 5th Marquess of Bristol was born on 10 October 1870.1 He was the son of Lord Augustus Henry Charles Hervey and Mariana Hodnett.1 He married, firstly, Lady Jean Alice Elaine Cochrane, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Douglas Mackinnon Baillie Hamilton Cochrane, 12th Earl of Dundonald and Winifred Bamford-Hesketh, on 29 October 1914.1 He and Lady Jean Alice Elaine Cochrane were divorced in 1933.1 He married, secondly, Dora Frances Emblin Marshall, daughter of George Marshall, on 15 December 1952.1 He died on 5 April 1960 at age 89.1
