     Ann Dorothea Dyce Nicol Thorne was born on 23 January 1893.2 She was the daughter of Augustus Thorne and Mary Frances Nicol.1,2 She married Sir Hew Clifford Hamilton-Dalrymple of North Berwick, 9th Bt., son of Sir Walter Hamilton-Dalrymple of North Berwick, 8th Bt. and Alice Mary Clifford, on 3 September 1919.1 She died in 1979.1
     Her married name became Hamilton-Dalrymple.

     Commander Richard Eustace Hollings was born in 1889.2 He was the son of Herbert John Butler Hollings and Nina Augusta Stracey Smyth.1,2 He married Agnes Mary Hamilton-Dalrymple, daughter of Sir Walter Hamilton-Dalrymple of North Berwick, 8th Bt. and Alice Mary Clifford, on 28 November 1914.1 He died in 1928.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Lt.-Col. Campbell Dalrymple was born on 27 August 1725.1 He was the son of Hew Dalrymple, Lord Drummore and Anne Horn.1 He married Margaret Douglas.1 He died in 1767.1
     He held the office of Governor of Guadaloupe in 1753.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Dragoons.1

     Hew Dalrymple, Lord Drummore was born on 30 November 1690.1 He was the son of Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple of North Berwick, 1st Bt. and Marion Hamilton.1 He married Anne Horn, daughter of John Horn of Horn and Westhall.1 He died on 18 June 1755 at age 64.1
     He was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1710.2 He was styled as Lord Drummore [Scottish Law Lord] in 1726.1 He held the office of Lord of Session [Scotland] in 1726.1 He held the office of Lord of Justiciary in 1745.1 He lived at Drunmore, East Lothian, Scotland.

     Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple of North Berwick, 1st Bt. was born circa 1653.1 He was the son of James Dalrymple, 1st Viscount of Stair and Margaret Ross.1 He married, firstly, Marion Hamilton, daughter of Sir Robert Hamilton, Lord Pressmennan, on 12 March 1682.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton of Olivestob, before 1712.1 He died on 1 February 1737.1
     He was a practising advocate in 1677.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Galloway [Scotland] between 1696 and 1702.1 He held the office of Lord President of the Court of Sesson between 1698 and 1737.2 He was created 1st Baronet Dalrymple, of North Berwick, co. Haddington [Nova Scotia] on 29 April 1698.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Galloway between 1702 and 1707.1 He was Commissioner for the Union of English and Scotitsh Parliaments in 1706.1
