     James Dalrymple was born on 27 January 1698.1 He was the son of Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple of North Berwick, 1st Bt. and Marion Hamilton.1 He married Margaret Cunningham.1 He died on 8 November 1766 at age 68.1
     He lived at Nunraw, East Lothian, Scotland.1

     Hew Dalrymple was born on 22 February 1740.1 He was the son of James Dalrymple and Margaret Cunningham.1 He married Susanna Cuningham, daughter of Robert Cuningham of Baidland and Mary Gainer.1 He married Dorothea MacCormick.1 He died on 11 September 1791 at age 51.1
     He lived at Nunraw, East Lothian, Scotland.1

     Charles Allix was born on 20 January 1783.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Wagner Allix and Katherine Townley.1 He married Mary Elizabeth Hammond, daughter of William Hammond, on 3 June 1808.1 He died on 22 January 1866 at age 83.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 10 April 1866.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was an agriculturist.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.1

     From 16 January 1844, her married name became Griffith.1
