     Augustus Thorne was born on 16 July 1825.1 He married Mary Frances Nicol, daughter of Andrew Nicol and Jane Stonach, on 17 November 1883 at St. James's, Paddington, London, England.1 He died on 28 October 1901 at age 76.1
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of London West.2 He lived at Great Cumberland Place, London, EnglandG.

     Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln was born in 1540.1 He was the son of Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Hon. Ursula Stourton.2 He married, firstly, Lady Catherine Hastings, daughter of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Catherine Pole, between 10 December 1555 and 30 April 1557.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Morrison, daughter of Sir Richard Morrison and Bridget Hussey, after 20 October 1586.1 He died on 29 September 1616.1
     He was also known as Henry Fiennes.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 29 September 1553.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire in 1571.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Lincoln [E., 1572] on 16 January 1584/85.1 He succeeded as the 10th Lord Clinton [E., 1299] on 16 January 1584/85.1

     Lady Catherine Hastings was born on 11 August 1542 at London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Catherine Pole.3,2 She was baptised on 20 August 1542 at Ickenham, London, EnglandG.2 She married Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln, son of Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Hon. Ursula Stourton, between 10 December 1555 and 30 April 1557.1 She died before 20 October 1586.1
     From between 10 December 1555 and 30 April 1557, her married name became Clinton.1 After her marriage, Lady Catherine Hastings was styled as Countess of Lincoln on 16 January 1585.

Elizabeth Morrison1

     Elizabeth Morrison was the daughter of Sir Richard Morrison and Bridget Hussey.2 She married, firstly, William Norris, son of Henry Norris, 1st Lord Norris and Margaret Williams, circa 1576.2 She married, secondly, Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln, son of Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Hon. Ursula Stourton, after 20 October 1586.1 She died circa 4 July 1611.1
     From circa 1576, her married name became Norris.2 After her marriage, Elizabeth Morrison was styled as Countess of Lincoln after 20 October 1586. From after 20 October 1586, her married name became Clinton.1

     He lived at Ballylin, Ferbane, County Offaly, IrelandG.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of King's County.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for King's County.3 He was given the name of Henry Louis Mahon at birth.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of King's County in 1903.4
