     Hon. Ella Campbell Scarlett was born in 1864.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Frederick Scarlett, 3rd Baron Abinger and Helen Magruder.1 She married Percy Hamilton Synge, son of Reverend Alexander Hamilton Synge and Eugenia Money Elliott, on 14 December 1901.2 She and Percy Hamilton Synge were divorced in 1921.2 She died on 30 October 1937.2
     Hon. Ella Campbell Scarlett graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).2 From 14 December 1901, her married name became Synge.
