     Marion Campbell is the daughter of John Campbell, 3rd of Cawdor.2 She married George Ross, 10th of Balnagowan, son of Alexander Ross, 9th of Balnagowan and Janet Sinclair.1
     Her married name became Ross.

     David Ross, 11th of Balnagowan was the son of George Ross, 10th of Balnagowan and Marion Campbell.2 He married, firstly, Mary Sutherland on 21 February 1597/98.1 He married, secondly, Lady Catherine Murray, daughter of John Murray, 1st Earl of Tullibardine and Catherine Drummond, in March 1606.3 He died on 20 November 1632.1
     On 8 September 1615 he was retoured heir.1

     Mary Sutherland married David Ross, 11th of Balnagowan, son of George Ross, 10th of Balnagowan and Marion Campbell, on 21 February 1597/98.1 She died in 1605, without issue.1
     From 21 February 1597/98, her married name became Ross.

David Ross, 12th of Balnagowan1

     David Ross, 12th of Balnagowan was the son of David Ross, 11th of Balnagowan and Lady Catherine Murray.2 He married Mary Fraser in 1635.1 He died circa 26 December 1653 at Tower of London, London, England.1 He was buried on 29 December 1653 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.1
     He fought in the Battle of Worcester on 3 September 1651, where he was captured and imprisoned in the Tower of London.1

David Ross, 13th of Balnagowan1

     David Ross, 13th of Balnagowan was born on 14 September 1644.1 He was the son of David Ross, 12th of Balnagowan and Mary Fraser.2 A contract for the marriage of David Ross, 13th of Balnagowan and Lady Anne Stuart was signed on 15 March 1666.1 He married Lady Anne Stuart, daughter of James Stuart, 4th Earl of Moray and Lady Margaret Home, in 1666.2 He died on 17 April 1711 at age 66, without legitimate issue, having entailed his estates to a stranger in blood.1
     On 6 October 1657 he was retoured heir to his father.1 He lived at Balnagowan, ScotlandG.2

     Christina Munro is the daughter of Colonel J. Munro of Obsdale.1 She married David Ross of Pitcalnie, son of David Ross of Pitcalnie and Jean Dunbar.1
     Her married name became Ross.1

Charles Ross, 14th of Balnagowan1

     Charles Ross, 14th of Balnagowan was born after 1656.1 He was the son of George Ross, 11th Lord Ross of Halkhead.2 He died on 5 August 1732.1
     He gained the rank of Army General on 1 April 1712.1 In 1727 he entailed Balnagowan to his nephew.1

     Charles Ross, 15th of Balnagowan was the son of George Ross, 13th Lord Ross of Halkhead and Lady Elizabeth Kerr.2 He died on 30 April 1745 at Fontenoy, Belgium, killed in action.1
     He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms as 15th of Balnagowan, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court 15th of Balnagowan in 1732.1 He fought in the Battle of Fontenoy on 30 April 1745.1
