Frances Liddell was born circa 1659.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Liddell, 2nd Bt. and Anne Vane.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Vane before 1682.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Bright, 1st and last Bt., son of Stephen Bright and Jane Westbye, circa 11 July 1682.1 She died in November 1682, on her way from London.1

Susanna Wharton was born circa 1651.1 She was the daughter of Michael Wharton.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Bright, 1st and last Bt., son of Stephen Bright and Jane Westbye, on 7 June 1683 at St. Mary's Church, Beverley, Yorkshire, England.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Newton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Newton, 2nd Bt. and Mary Eyre, on 23 March 1690/91 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields Church, London, England.1 She died on 19 April 1737.1 She was buried at Haydon, Lincolnshire, England.1
