     Margaret Balfour was the daughter of David Balfour of Burleigh and Agnes Forester.¹ She married Sir Robert Douglas, son of Sir Robert Douglas of Lochleven and Elizabeth Boswell, before 1500.¹
      From before 1500, her married name became Douglas.¹

     Elizabeth Ingram was born in 1623.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Arthur Ingram. She married Robert Rich, 5th Earl of Warwick, son of Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland and Isabel Cope, on 8 April 1641.^2,3 She died circa September 1661.³ She was buried on 17 September 1661.³
      From 8 April 1641, her married name became Rich.

     Sir Arthur Ingram was invested as a Knight.

     Lady Anne Montagu was the daughter of Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester and Lady Anne Rich.¹ She married Robert Rich, 5th Earl of Warwick, son of Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland and Isabel Cope.^3,1 She died circa July 1689.⁴ She was buried on 9 July 1689.⁴
      Her married name became Rich.³

     Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester was born in 1602.³ He was the son of Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester and Catharine Spencer.³ He married, firstly, Susannah Hill, daughter of John Hill and Dorothy Beaumont, on 6 February 1622/23.³ He married, secondly, Lady Anne Rich, daughter of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Frances Hatton, on 1 July 1625.³ He married, thirdly, Essex Cheeke, daughter of Sir Thomas Cheeke and Essex Rich, on 30 December 1642.³ He married, fourthly, Eleanor Wortley, daughter of Sir Richard Wortley, circa 1659.⁴ He married, fifthly, Lady Margaret Russell, daughter of Francis Russell, 4th Earl of Bedford and Hon. Catharine Brydges, on 1 August 1667.¹ He died on 5 May 1671.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Huntingdonshire between 1602 and 1626.³ He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1626.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Kimbolton of Kimbolton, co. Huntingdon [E., 1620] on 22 May 1626, in his father's lifetime.³ He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in January 1639/40.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Huntingdonshire in 1642.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Mandeville [E., 1620] on 7 November 1642.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Manchester, co. Lancaster [E., 1626] on 7 November 1642.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire in 1643.³ He gained the rank of General in the service of the Parliamentary Army.³ He fought in the Battle of Marston Moor in 1644.³ He held the office of Lord Chamberlain from 1660 to 1661.³ He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1661.³ He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in February 1660/61.³

     Lady Anne Rich was born in 1604.³ She was the daughter of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Frances Hatton.¹ She married Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester, son of Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester and Catharine Spencer, on 1 July 1625.¹ She died on 14 February 1641/42.⁴
      Her married name became Montagu.

     Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick was born between May 1587 and June 1587.² He was the son of Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick and Lady Penelope Devereux. He married, firstly, Frances Hatton, daughter of Sir William Newport and Elizabeth Gundi.³ He married Eleanor Wortley, daughter of Sir Richard Wortley, on 30 March 1646.⁴ He died in 1658.
     He gained the title of 2nd Earl of Warwick.

     Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick was born in December 1559.² He was the son of Robert Rich, 2nd Baron Rich and Elizabeth Baldry.² He married Lady Penelope Devereux, daughter of Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex and Lettice Knollys, between October 1581 and November 1581.³ He died on 24 March 1618/19 at age 59 at Allington House, Holborn, London, England.²
     He gained the title of 1st Earl of Warwick in 1618.

     Lady Penelope Devereux was born after 1561.³ She was the daughter of Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex and Lettice Knollys.¹ She married Charles Blount, Earl of Devon.¹ She married Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick, son of Robert Rich, 2nd Baron Rich and Elizabeth Baldry, between October 1581 and November 1581.³ She died on 7 July 1607.
      Her married name became Blount.¹ From between October 1581 and November 1581, her married name became Rich.³

     Isabel Cope was the daughter of Sir Walter Cope and Dorothy Grenville.^3,4 She married Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland, son of Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick and Lady Penelope Devereux, before 1616.⁴ She died circa August 1655.⁵ She was buried on 1 September 1655.⁵
