Sir Charles Hotham, 5th Bt.1

     Sir Charles Hotham, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir Charles Hotham, 4th Bt. and Bridget Gee.1 He married Lady Gertrude Stanhope, daughter of Philip Stanhope, 3rd Earl of Chesterfield and Lady Elizabeth Saville, in 1724.1 He died on 15 January 1738/39.1
     He was Groom of the Bedchamber.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] in January 1722/23.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beverley.1 He gained the rank of Colonel of Horse in the Grenadier Guards.1

     Sir Charles Hotham, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir Charles Hotham, 5th Bt. and Lady Gertrude Stanhope.1 He married Caroline Anne Clutterbuck, daughter of Thomas Clutterbuck.1 He died in 1767, without issue.1
     He was Groom of the Bedchamber.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] on 15 January 1738/39.1
