     James Johnston Clark was born on 9 January 1809.1 He was the son of Alexander Clark and Margaret Johnston.2 He married Frances Hall, daughter of Robert Hall, on 28 April 1837.1 He died in 1891.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Derry in 1849.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Derry.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Derry.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Derry.1 He lived at Largantogher House, County Londonderry, IrelandG.1

Lt.-Col. James Jackson Clark1

     Lt.-Col. James Jackson Clark was born on 6 April 1845.1 He was the son of James Johnston Clark and Frances Hall.2 He married Mary Elizabeth Lenox-Conyngham, daughter of Colonel Sir William Fitzwilliam Lenox-Conyngham and Laura Calvert Arbuthnot, on 16 November 1883.1 He died on 29 October 1926 at age 81.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Derry in 1875.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 9th Brigade North Irish Division, Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Derry.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Derry.1 He lived at Largantogher, County Londonderry, IrelandG.1

John Clark-Hall1

     John Clark-Hall was born on 17 December 1846.1 He was the son of James Johnston Clark and Frances Hall.2 He married Dorothea Thusnelda Keown, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Keown and Dorothea Alexander, in 1878.1 He died on 13 April 1902 at age 55.1
     His name was legally changed to John Clark-Hall on the death of his uncle, Alexander.2 He was given the name of John Clark at birth.2 He was Registrar-General of Shipping and Seamen.1
