She married Willem III von Nassau, King of the Netherlands, son of Willem II von Nassau, King of the Netherlands and Anna Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, on 17 June 1839 at Stuttgart, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1 She died on 3 June 1877 at age 58.1

     Wilhelm Ernst Großherzog von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach was born on 10 June 1876 at Weimar, Germany.1 He was the son of Karl August Erbherzöge von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach and Pauline Ida Prinzessin von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach.1 He married, firstly, Karoline Prinzessin Reuss zu Greiz, daughter of Heinrich XXII Prinz Reuss zu Greiz and Ida Mathilde Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe, on 30 April 1903 at Bückeburg, Niedersachsen, Germany.1 He married, secondly, Feodore Carola Charlotte Prinzessin von Sachsen-Meiningen, daughter of Friedrich Johann Bernhard Hermann Heinrich Moritz Prinz von Sachsen-Meiningen and Adelheid Karoline Prinzessin zur Lippe-Biesterfeld, on 14 January 1910 at Meiningen, Thüringen, Germany.1 He was also reported to have been married on 4 January 1910. He died on 24 April 1923 at age 46 at Heinrichau, Germany.1
     Wilhelm Ernst Großherzog von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach.1 He was baptised with the name of Wilhelm Ernst Karl Alexander Friedrich Heinrich Bernhard Albrecht Georg Hermann von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach. He succeeded to the title of Großherzog Karl August von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach on 5 January 1901.1 He abdicated as Reigining Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach on 9 November 1918.1
