     Friederike Luise Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt was born on 16 October 1751 at Prenzlau, Brandenburg, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Ludwig IX Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt and Karoline Henriette Christina Louisa Pfalzgräfin von Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld.3 She married Friedrich Wilhelm II König von Preußen, son of August Wilhelm Prinz von Preußen and Luise Amalie Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 14 July 1769 at Berlin-Charlottenburg, Brandenburg, Germany.1 She died on 25 February 1805 at age 53.1

He married Friederike Luise Karoline Sophie Charlotte Alexandrine Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Strelitz, daughter of Karl II Großherzog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Friederike Karoline Luise Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt, on 26 December 1793.3 He and Friederike Luise Karoline Sophie Charlotte Alexandrine Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Strelitz were divorced in 1796. He died on 28 December 1796 at age 23.3,2
