She married Friedrich Wilhelm II König von Preußen, son of August Wilhelm Prinz von Preußen and Luise Amalie Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 14 July 1769 at Berlin-Charlottenburg, Brandenburg, Germany.1 She died on 25 February 1805 at age 53.1
     Friederike Luise Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt gained the title of Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt.1
