     Lt.-Col. Charles à Court Repington was born on 29 January 1858.1 He was the son of Charles Henry Wyndham à Court Repington and Emily Currie.2 He married Melloney Catherine Scobell, daughter of Colonel Henry Sales Scobell, on 11 February 1882.1 He died on 25 May 1925 at age 67.1
     He fought in the Afghan War in 1878.1 He fought in the Burma Expedition in 1889.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898, and was mentioned in despatches rwice.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, and was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.1 He was Military Attaché to Brussels and The Hague.1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He lived at Maryon Hall, Hampstead, London, England.1 He lived at Amington, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1
