     William Leonard Holmes à Court was born on 19 January 1835.1 He was the son of William Henry Ashe Holmes à Court, 2nd Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury and Elizabeth Holmes.2 He married Isabella Sophia Beadon, daughter of Reverend Richard à Court Beadon, on 24 September 1861.1 He died on 16 December 1885 at age 50.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the Isle of Wight.1

     William Frederick Holmes à Court, 3rd Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury was born on 25 June 1862.1 He was the son of William Leonard Holmes à Court and Isabella Sophia Beadon.2 He married Margaret Anna Harman, daughter of J. Nixon Harman, on 19 November 1887.1 He died on 15 August 1903 at age 41.1
     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury, co. Wilts [U.K., 1828] on 21 April 1891.3 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet à Court, of Heytesbury, Wiltshire [G.B., 1795] on 21 April 1891.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.1
