     Hugh Alleyne Sacheverell-Bateman was born circa 1860.2 He was the son of Thomas Keelinge Bateman and Frederick Bannatyne.2 He married Anna Bridges, daughter of Captain Edward Bridges and Anna Gifford, on 7 June 1888 at Westminster, London, England.1,2 He died circa 30 October 1896 at Overton Hall, Ashover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.1,2

     He was educated at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1954 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury, co.
