Sir Thomas Mansel, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Mansel and Lady Jane Somerset.2 He married, secondly, Jane Pole, daughter of Thomas Pole.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Mordaunt, daughter of Lewis Mordaunt, 3rd Lord Mordaunt and Elizabeth Darcy, on 30 May 1582.1 He died on 20 December 1631.1

Sir Lewis Mansel, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1594.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Mansel, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Mordaunt.2 He married, secondly, Katherine Lewis, daughter of Sir Edward Lewis.2 He married, firstly, Lady Katharine Sydney, daughter of Robert Sydney, 1st Earl of Leicester and Barbara Gamage, after 1603.1 He married, thirdly, Lady Elizabeth Montagu, daughter of Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester and Catharine Spencer, on 25 August 1627.2 He died on 4 April 1638.1
