     Lady Katharine Sydney was the daughter of Robert Sydney, 1st Earl of Leicester and Barbara Gamage.² She married Sir Lewis Mansel, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Mansel, 1st Bt. and Mary Mordaunt, after 1603.¹ She died, without issue.¹
     From after 1603, her married name became Mansel.

     Sir Henry Mansel, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1630.¹ He was the son of Sir Lewis Mansel, 2nd Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Montagu.² He died circa 1640.¹

     Martha Carne is the daughter of Edward Carne.² She married Sir Edward Mansel, 4th Bt., son of Sir Lewis Mansel, 2nd Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Montagu, circa 1665.¹

     Sir Thomas Mansell, 1st Baron Mansell of Margam was born circa 1668.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Mansel, 4th Bt. and Martha Carne.² He married Martha Millington, daughter of Martha Millington, on 18 May 1686.¹ He died on 10 December 1723.¹

     From 18 May 1686, her married name became Mansell.

     Hon. Robert Mansell was born on 2 November 1695.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Mansell, 1st Baron Mansell of Margam and Martha Millington.² He married Anne Shovel, daughter of Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovel, circa April 1718.¹ He died on 29 April 1723 at age 27.¹

     Anne Shovel is the daughter of Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovel.² She married, firstly, Hon. Robert Mansell, son of Sir Thomas Mansell, 1st Baron Mansell of Margam and Martha Millington, circa April 1718.¹ She married, secondly, John Blackwood after 1723.²
     From circa April 1718, her married name became Mansell.¹ From after 1723, her married name became Blackwood.²

     Sir Thomas Mansell, 2nd Baron Mansell of Margam was born on 26 December 1719.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Mansell and Anne Shovel.² He died on 29 January 1743/44 at age 24, unmarried.¹
