Lt.-Col. Robert Thomas Carew was born on 22 May 1860.1 He is the son of Robert Thomas Carew and Henrietta Browne-Clayton.2 He married, firstly, Constance Charlotte Mary Creagh, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Creagh, on 4 August 1887.3 He married, secondly, Mary O'Gorman, daughter of Major Purcell O'Gorman, on 30 October 1905.1 He died on 11 February 1917 at age 56.1

Commander Richard Clayton Carew was born on 20 August 1861.1 He was the son of Robert Thomas Carew and Henrietta Browne-Clayton.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Elizabeth Croker, daughter of Captain Edward Croker, on 14 April 1891.1 He married, secondly, Mary Amelia Jervois, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Jervois, on 10 June 1913.1 He died on 21 April 1937 at age 75.1
