     Major Arthur George Dugdale was born on 12 August 1843.1 He was the son of William Stratford Dugdale and Harriet Ella Portman.2 He married Mary Eliza Cornwallis Whatman, daughter of James Whatman and Louisa Isabella Ross, on 25 July 1878.1 He died on 17 January 1932 at age 88.1
     Major Arthur George Dugdale held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He lived at Fifehead Nevill, Sturminster Newton, Dorset, England.1
