     Judith Lucy Emerson was born on 20 April 1943. She is the daughter of Major Donald Godfrey Emerson and Madeline Lucy Keane.1 She married Michael Maurice Fletcher Watson, son of Major James Fletcher Watson and Maureen Howard Helyar, in 1967.1
     From 1967, her married name became Watson.1
