     2nd Lieutenant Thomas Douglas Wilson was born on 25 September 1890.1 He was the son of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Emma Alexandrina Binnie.2 He married Kathleen Elsie Gray, daughter of Henry Edward Gray, on 4 June 1914.1 He died on 23 April 1917 at age 26, killed in action.1
     2nd Lieutenant Thomas Douglas Wilson was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the 7th Battalion, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.1

     Sir Thomas Douglas Wilson of Airdrie, 4th Bt. was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Second World War.1 He was Captain.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Wilson, of Airdrie, New Monkland, Lanarks [U.K., 1906] on 22 October 1968.1
