Susannah Hankey was born on 12 November 1737 at Saint Dionis Backchurch, London, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Hankey and Sarah Barnard.2,3 She married, firstly, James Norman before 1767.4 She married, secondly, Beaumont Hotham, 2nd Baron Hotham of South Dalton, son of Sir Beaumont Hotham, 7th Bt. and Frances Thompson, on 6 June 1767.4 She died on 1 August 1799 at age 61.4
