     Sir Charles Hotham-Thompson, 8th Bt. was born before 1735. He was the son of Sir Beaumont Hotham, 7th Bt. and Frances Thompson.1 He married Lady Dorothy Hobart, daughter of John Hobart, 1st Earl of Buckinghamshire and Judith Britiffe, on 21 October 1752.2 He died on 25 January 1794.1
     He was given the name of Charles Hotham at birth.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] in 1771.1
