     Sir Adam Fergusson of Kilkerran, 3rd Bt. was born on 7 May 1733 at Kilkerran, Dailly, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1,2 He was the son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 2nd Bt. and Jane Maitland.3 He died on 25 September 1813 at age 80, without issue.1
     He graduated in 1755 with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He was a practising Advocate in 1755.1 He unsuccessfully claimed the Earldom of Glencairn.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Fergusson, of Kilkerran [N.S., 1703] on 20 January 1759.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ayrshire between 1774 and 1780.1 He was Commissioner of Trade and Plantations in 1781.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Edinburgh between 1784 and 1789.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ayrshire between 1790 and 1796.1

     Frances Weldon was the daughter of Walter Weldon and Jane Ryder.1,2 She married, firstly, William Savage, son of Sir Arthur Savage.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Flower.3 She died on 26 December 1673.3

     Evelyn Georgina Orlebar was born in 1874 at Kensington, London, England.1 She was the daughter of Cuthbert Knightley Orlebar and Georgina Emily Miller.1,2 She married Major Edward Gerald Costobadie, son of Major James Palliser Costobadie and Laura Kingston, on 6 February 1908 at Holy Trinity, Knightsbridge, London, England.1 She died in 1939.1
     From 6 February 1908, her married name became Costobadie.1

     George Fergusson, Lord Hermand was born on 25 August 1743 at Dailly, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1,2 He was the son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 2nd Bt. and Jane Maitland.3 He married Graeme Macdowall, daughter of William Macdowall, 18th of Garthland and 2nd of Castlesemple and Elizabeth 'Black Bess' Graham, on 23 December 1793 at Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, ScotlandG.1,2 He died on 9 August 1827 at age 83, without issue.1
     He was a practising Advocate in 1765.1 He was styled as Lord Hermand [Scottish Law Lord] in 1799.1 He held the office of a Lord of Session between 1799 and 1826.1 He held the office of Lord of Justiciary between 1808 and 1826.1
