     Frances Brandling is the daughter of Colonel unknown Brandling.2 She married Major Harry James Fergusson, son of Major Robert Duncan Fergusson and Helen Blackburn, in 1897.1
     From 1897, her married name became Fergusson.

     John Blackburn Fergusson was born on 2 December 1855.1 He was the son of Major Robert Duncan Fergusson and Helen Blackburn.2 He married Effie Mary Ramsey Blackburn, daughter of Andrew Blackburn, on 27 July 1880.1 He died on 29 March 1930 at age 74.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was a practising Inner Temple, barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.1

     Robert Duncan Fergusson was born on 21 August 1881.1 He was the son of John Blackburn Fergusson and Effie Mary Ramsey Blackburn.2 He married Edith Katherine Russell, daughter of W. D. Russell, on 14 January 1913.1 He died on 4 April 1923 at age 41.1
