     James Stonhouse was born in 1641.1 He was the son of Sir John Stonhouse, 1st/3rd Bt. and Hon. Margaret Lovelace.2 He and Mary Heron obtained a marriage license on 11 December 1673.1 He died in 1729.1

Rev. Sir James Stonhouse, 7th/10th Bt.1

     Rev. Sir James Stonhouse, 7th/10th Bt. was born on 9 July 1716.1 He was the son of Richard Stonhouse and Caroline (?).2 He married, firstly, Anne Neale, daughter of John Neale, on 20 May 1742.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Ekins, daughter of Thomas Ekins, on 18 November 1754.1 He died on 8 December 1795 at age 79.1
     He was educated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was Rector between 1763 and 1795 at Great Cheverel, Wiltshire, England.1 He was physician at Northampton Infirmary, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Stonhouse, of Radley, Berkshire [E., 1628] on 13 April 1792.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Stonhouse [E., 1670] on 13 April 1792.1

     Anne Neale was the daughter of John Neale.2 She married Rev. Sir James Stonhouse, 7th/10th Bt., son of Richard Stonhouse and Caroline (?), on 20 May 1742.1 She died on 1 December 1747.1
     She held the office of Maid of Honour to Queen Caroline.1 From 20 May 1742, her married name became Stonhouse.

     Sir Thomas Stonhouse, 8th/11th Bt. was born in 1744.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir James Stonhouse, 7th/10th Bt. and Anne Neale.2 He died in 1810, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Stonhouse, of Radley, Berkshire [E., 1628] on 6 December 1795.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Stonhouse [E., 1670] on 6 December 1795.1
