     Colonel Marcus Wylly de la Poer Beresford was born on 22 February 1825. He was the son of John Beresford and Harriet Eliza Wylly.1 He married Charlotte Blakeney, daughter of Captain Robert Blakeney and Contessa Julia Balbi, on 24 July 1852 at Corfu, Greece.1 He died on 12 February 1902 at age 76.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 49th Regiment of Foot.1

     Charlotte Blakeney was the daughter of Captain Robert Blakeney and Contessa Julia Balbi.1 She married Colonel Marcus Wylly de la Poer Beresford, son of John Beresford and Harriet Eliza Wylly, on 24 July 1852 at Corfu, Greece.1 She died on 31 October 1906.1
      From 24 July 1852, her married name became Beresford.1

     Lt.-Col. John Blakeney de la Poer Beresford was born on 16 September 1856. He was the son of Colonel Marcus Wylly de la Poer Beresford and Charlotte Blakeney. He married Amy Eva Gourlay, daughter of William Cameron Gourlay, on 18 March 1903. He and Amy Eva Gourlay were divorced in 1917. He died on 22 May 1930 at age 73.

     Amy Eva Gourlay is the daughter of William Cameron Gourlay. She married Lt.-Col. John Blakeney de la Poer Beresford, son of Colonel Marcus Wylly de la Poer Beresford and Charlotte Blakeney, on 18 March 1903. She and Lt.-Col. John Blakeney de la Poer Beresford were divorced in 1917.
      Her married name became Beresford.

     John Hadden Askwith was born on 11 February 1782.1 He was the son of William Askwith and Jane Handley.2,1 He married Catherine Harrison, daughter of William Harrison, on 15 October 1810.1 He died on 28 May 1824 at age 42.1
     He lived at Old Sleningford Hall, Yorkshire, England.1 He lived at Pickhill, Yorkshire, England.1
