     Sir George Home, 6th of Wedderburn was born in 1552.3 He was the son of Sir David Home, 5th of Wedderburn.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir George Home, 6th of Wedderburn and Jane Haldane was signed on 15 January 1577/78.1 He died on 24 November 1616.1
     Sir George Home, 6th of Wedderburn held the office of Comptroller of Scotland in 1597.1
