Richard Maxwell Haldane was born on 27 October 1909.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Maldwyn Makgill Haldane and Mabel Constance Seymour.2 He married Ruth Kathleen Hunt, daughter of Athol Clifford Hunt, on 28 September 1939.1 He died on 2 January 1971 at age 61.1
