     Thomas Raikes was born on 28 March 1741.² He married Charlotte Finch, daughter of Hon. Henry Finch, on 8 December 1774 at St. George's, Boomsbury, London, England.² He died on 29 December 1813 at age 72.²
     He was a Russia merchant, banker and newspaper proprietor.² He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England in 1797.¹

     Harriet Raikes was the daughter of Thomas Raikes and Charlotte Finch.² She married Stratford Canning, 1st Viscount Stratford de Redcliffe, son of Stratford Canning and Mehitabel Patrick, on 3 August 1816.¹ She died on 17 February 1817, without issue.¹
     From 3 August 1816, her married name became Canning.

     Elizabeth Canning was born on 4 February 1777.² She was the daughter of Stratford Canning and Mehitabel Patrick.³ She married George Henry Barnett in 1805.¹ She died on 17 December 1838 at age 61 at Putney, London, England^G.^1,2
