     Adam Nisbet of that Ilk was the son of Philip Nisbet of that Ilk and Mariota Hoppringill.2 He died in 1551, without issue.1

     George Nisbet of that Ilk was the son of Adam Nisbet of that Ilk.2 He married Elizabeth Cranstoun, daughter of Cuthbert Cranstoun of Thirlestane Mains, in 1551.1 He died on 14 January 1600.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Scotland] in 1560/61.1

     Reverend Philip Nisbet was born circa 1590.1 He was the son of Sir Philip Nisbet of that Ilk and Elizabeth Haldane.2 He married Elizabeth Hoyle, daughter of Thomas Hoyle, in 1616.1 He died on 7 February 1658.1
     He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was Rector at St. Martin's Micklegate, York, Yorkshire, England.1 He was Rector at Buscel, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.1 He was a Parliamentarian during the Civil Wars.1 He was Rector at Easington, County Durham, England.1
