Sir Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie was the son of Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie and Lady Elizabeth Douglas.1 He married, firstly, Elena Home.1 He married, secondly, Nichole Ker, daughter of Sir George Ker of Samuelstown, circa 1508.1 He and Nichole Ker were divorced. He and Elena Home were divorced.1 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.1

Margaret Home was born before 5 December 1565.2 She was the daughter of Alexander Home, 5th Lord Home and Margaret Ker.1 A contract for the marriage of Margaret Home and George Keith, 4th Earl Marischal was signed on 4 February 1580/81.2 She died in May 1598.2

Alexander Home, 5th Lord Home was the son of George Home, 4th Lord Home and Mariot Halyburton.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Ker, daughter of Sir Walter Kerr of Cessford and Isabel Kerr, before 4 February 1557/58.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Gray, daughter of Patrick Gray, 4th Lord Gray and Marion Ogilvy, before 3 May 1568.2 He died in 1575.
He succeeded to the title of 5th Lord Home [S., 1473] circa 15 April 1549.1 He held the office of Warden of the East Marches in 1550.1 He held the office of Warden of the East and Mid Marches in 1557.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1561.1 In October 1573 he was conviceted of treason and his titles forfeited.1

Alexander Home, 1st Lord Home was the son of Sir Alexander Home of Home and Dunglas and Janet Hay.1 He married, firstly, Marion Lauder, daughter of John Lauder and Katherine de Landells, before 1424.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 1st Lord Montgomerie and Margaret Boyd, before 14 July 1467.1 He died between February 1490 and April 1491.2
In 1450 he founded the Collegiate Church of Dunbar.1 He held the office of Scottish Ambassador to England in 1459.1 He was created 1st Lord Home [Scotland] on 2 August 1473.2
