     Annabella Forbes is the daughter of Alexander Forbes, 1st Lord Forbes and Lady Elizabeth Douglas.2 She married Patrick Gray, Master of Gray, son of Andrew Gray, 1st Lord Gray and Elizabeth Wemyss, before 1445.3
      From before 1445, her married name became Gray.3

     Patrick Gray, 3rd Lord Gray was the son of Andrew Gray, 2nd Lord Gray and Janet Keith.1 He married Lady Janet Gordon, daughter of George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntly and Annabella Stewart, from February 1491/92 to February 1492/93.1 He died in April 1541, without legitimate issue.1
     His marriage to Lady Janet Gordon was annulled between 1500 and 1508.2 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Lord Gray [S., 1445] in February 1513/14.1

     Patrick Gray, 4th Lord Gray was born before 1515.2 He was the son of Gilbert Gray and Egidia Mercer.3 A contract for the marriage of Patrick Gray, 4th Lord Gray and Marion Ogilvy was signed on 21 September 1537.3 He married Margaret Ker, daughter of Sir Walter Kerr of Cessford and Isabel Kerr, before 4 February 1557/58.4 He died in 1584.3
     He succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Gray [S., 1445] in April 1541.3 After 24 November 1542 he was captured by the English after the Battle of Solway Moss, and ransomed for £500.3
