     Annabel Murray was born circa 1536 at Tullibardine, Perthshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Sir William Murray, 10th of Tullibardine and Katherine Campbell.1,3 She married John Erskine, 18th/1st Earl of Mar, son of John Erskine, 5th Lord Erskine and Lady Margaret Campbell, before 29 January 1556/57.3,4
     She was also known as Annabella Murray.3 As a result of her marriage, Annabel Murray was styled as Countess of Mar. From before 29 January 1556/57, her married name became Erskine.3,4

     Lady Margaret Leslie was the daughter of George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes and Margaret Crichton.1 She married Archibald Douglas, 8th Earl of Angus, son of David Douglas, 7th Earl of Angus and Margaret Hamilton, on 25 December 1575.1 She and Archibald Douglas, 8th Earl of Angus were divorced on 12 July 1587.1,2
     As a result of her marriage, Lady Margaret Leslie was styled as Countess of Angus on 25 December 1575. From 25 December 1575, her married name became Douglas.

      Her married name became Meldrum. From 11 April 1561, her married name became Lyon.

     Margaret Crichton was born illegitimately before 1507.2 She was the daughter of William Crichton, 3rd Lord Crichton and Margaret Stewart.3,4 She married, firstly, William Todrik before 1507.3 She married, secondly, George Halkerstoun before 1513.3 She married, thirdly, George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes, son of William Leslie, 3rd Earl of Rothes and Margaret Balfour, circa 1517.4 She and George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes were divorced on 27 December 1520. She died before 1546.3
      From before 1507, her married name became Todrik.3 From before 1513, her married name became Halkerstoun.3 From circa 1517, her married name became Leslie.

     William Abernethy, 5th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was the son of Alexander Abernethy, 4th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and unknown daughter Stewart.2,3 He married Lady Elizabeth Hay, daughter of William Hay, 4th Earl of Erroll and Christian Lyon, on 23 July 1512.4 He died in December 1543.4
     He gained the title of 5th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy.5

     He was styled as Master of Morton.1 He lived at Lochleven, Scotland.

     Alexander Lindsay, 2nd Lord Spynie was born circa 1597. He was the son of Sir Alexander Lindsay, 1st Lord Spynie and Jean Lyon.2 He married Lady Margaret Hay, daughter of George Hay, 1st Earl of Kinnoull and Margaret Halyburton.2 He died in 1646.3
     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Spynie [S., 1590] in June 1607.2 He fought in the Thirty Years War, under King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden.2

     Sir William Douglas was born between 1470 and 1475.2 He was the son of Archibald Douglas, 5th Earl of Angus and Elizabeth Boyd.1 He married Elizabeth Auchinleck, daughter of James Auchinleck of Glenbervie, in 1501.2 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.2
     He was invested as a Knight in 1511.2 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.2
