     John Lister Shand was the son of Sir Charles Lister Shand.1 He married Ruperta Sibyl Bromley, daughter of Sir Robert Bromley, 6th Bt. and Hon. Lilian Pauncefote, on 3 June 1924.1 He and Ruperta Sibyl Bromley were divorced in 1933.1 He died in June 1941, while on active service.1

     Maureen Magan was born on 11 November 1914.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Tilson Shaen Magan and Kathleen Jane Biddulph.2 She married, firstly, Colonel John Herbert Gillington, son of George Maurice Gillington, on 9 September 1939.3 She married, secondly, John Donald Alexander Arthur Makgill, 12th Viscount of Oxfuird, son of Sir George Makgill, 11th Bt. and Frances Elizabeth Grant, on 6 October 1955.2 She died on 17 July 2002 at age 87.2
     From 9 September 1939, her married name became Gillington.3 Her married name became Makgill. She gained the title of Viscountess of Oxfuird in 1977.

Lt.-Col. Arthur Tilson Shaen Magan1

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Tilson Shaen Magan was born in 1880.2 He was the son of Percy Tilson Magan and Anne Catherine Richards.3 He married Kathleen Jane Biddulph, daughter of Assheton Biddulph and Florence Caroline Boothby, on 22 January 1906.1 He died on 11 November 1965.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.3 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He lived at Correal, County Roscommon, IrelandG.3 He lived at Killyon Manor, Hill-o-Down, County Meath, IrelandG.1

     He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st/10th Gurkha Rifles.1

     Elizabeth Ann Turner was the daughter of W. Turner.1 She married, firstly, Godfrey Armitage before 1916.1 She married, secondly, Sir Maurice Bromley-Wilson, 7th Bt., son of Sir Henry Bromley, 5th Bt. and Adela Augusta Richards, on 16 December 1916.1 She died on 27 July 1936.1
     From before 1916, her married name became Armitage.1 From 16 December 1916, her married name became Bromley-Wilson.1
