Reverend Samuel Charles Waldegrave was born on 14 May 1887.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Edmund Waldegrave and Alice Millett.1 He married, firstly, Muriel Vesteinn McClure, daughter of Rev. Canon Edmund McClure, on 10 January 1918.1 He married, secondly, Katharine Joyce Maddison Hall, daughter of Reverend George Clement Maddison Hall, on 7 April 1945.1 He died on 7 January 1965 at age 77, without issue.1
