     Major Harry Crewe Godley was the son of Lt.-Col. H. R. C. Godley.1 He married Elizabeth Mary Annesley, daughter of Captain William Henry Annesley and Lucy Ann Kelly, on 23 April 1892.1 He died on 19 February 1907.
     Major Harry Crewe Godley was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Northamptonshire Regiment.1
