Hardinge Goulburn Giffard, 2nd Earl of Halsbury was born on 20 June 1880.3 He is the son of Hardinge Stanley Giffard, 1st Earl of Halsbury and Wilhelmina Woodfall.2,3 He married Esme Wallace, daughter of James Stewart Wallace and Lucy Sutherland, on 7 August 1907.3 He died on 15 September 1943 at age 63.3
