     Friedrich III Kurfürst von Sachsen was born on 17 January 1463 at Torgau, GermanyG. He was the son of Ernst Kurfürst von Sachsen and Elisabeth von Oberbayern-München.1 He died on 5 May 1525 at age 62 at Lochau, GermanyG.
     Friedrich III Kurfürst von Sachsen also went by the nick-name of Friedrich 'the Wise'.1 He succeeded as the Wettin.1 He succeeded as the Kurfürst von Sachsen in 1486.1

He was the son of Ernst Kurfürst von Sachsen and Elisabeth von Oberbayern-München.1 He married, firstly, Sophie von Mecklenburg, daughter of Magnus II Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Sophie von Pommern-Wolgast, on 1 March 1500 at Torgau, GermanyG. He married, secondly, Margaret von Anhalt-Zerbst, daughter of Waldemar VI Prinz von Anhalt-Zerbst and Margaret von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen, on 13 November 1513 at Torgau, GermanyG. He died on 16 August 1532 at age 64 at Schweinitz, GermanyG.
     Johann Kurfürst von Sachsen also went by the nick-name of Johann 'the Constant'.1 He was a member of the House of Wettin.1 He succeeded as the Kurfürst von Sachsen in 1525.1

She married Friedrich I Markgraf von Meißen, son of Albrecht I Landgraf von Thüringen and Margaret of Swabia, on 24 August 1300. She died on 22 August 1359.
     She gained the title of Gräfin von Lobdaburg-Arnshaugk.

     Friedrich II Markgraf von Meißen also went by the nick-name of Friedrich 'the Severe'. He gained the title of Markgraf von Meißen. He gained the title of Landgraf von Thüringen.
