     Ludwig IX Herzog von Bayern-Landshut was born on 23 February 1417 at Burghausen, Bayern, Germany. He was the son of Heinrich XVI Herzog von Bayern-Landshut and Margarete von Habsburg.1,2 He married Amalia Prinzessin von Sachsen, daughter of Friedrich II Kurfürst von Sachsen and Margarete von Habsburg, on 21 February 1452. He died on 18 January 1479 at age 61.
     Ludwig IX Herzog von Bayern-Landshut also went by the nick-name of Ludwig 'the Rich'.1 He succeeded to the title of Herzog von Bayern-Landshut in 1450.1

     Anne von Braunschweig-Grubenhagen was born circa 1414. She was the daughter of Erich I Herzog von Braunschweig-Grubenhagen and Elisabeth von Braunschweig-Göttingen. She married, firstly, Albrecht III Herzog von Oberbayern-München, son of Ernst Herzog von Oberbayern-München and Elisabetta Visconti, on 22 January 1437.1 She married, secondly, Friedrich II Herzog von Braunschweig-Kalenberg, son of Wilhelm I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Cecilie von Hohenzollern, on 1 February 1463. She married Albrecht III Herzog von Oberbayern-München, son of Ernst Herzog von Oberbayern-München and Elisabetta Visconti.1 She died on 14 October 1474.
     From 1 February 1463, her married name became von Braunschweig-Kalenberg.

     Heinrich II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was born circa 1467. He was the son of Otto II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Anne von Nassau-Dillenburg.1 He married Margaret von Sachsen, daughter of Ernst Kurfürst von Sachsen and Elisabeth von Oberbayern-München, on 27 February 1487. He died on 19 February 1532.
     He was a member of the House of Guelph.1 Heinrich II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg also went by the nick-name of Heinrich 'the Middle'.1 He succeeded to the title of Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1471.1 He abdicated as Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg in 1522.1

She married Johann Kurfürst von Sachsen, son of Ernst Kurfürst von Sachsen and Elisabeth von Oberbayern-München, on 1 March 1500 at Torgau, Germany. She died on 12 July 1503 at Torgau, Germany.
